Very sad to hear this. I worked with Marjorie for a brief period in the 1990s at a trade publication in NYC. I happened to be with her on Oct. 3, 1995 when the OJ verdict was announced. We were both on lunch break and decided to find a bar with a TV to hear the big news. I think we walked out of there in shock at what just happened. Later that day we were asked by our editor if we'd like to see the Yankees play the Mariners in the divisional playoffs. We were both huge Yankees fans so that was an easy call. Yanks won! (the game, not the series) I soon left that magazine for another job and lost touch with Marjorie. She was a very solid writer, cheerful and always quick to laugh. RIP
