Ruth 10th January 2019

John and Marjorie moved to Sedgwick Street within weeks of my husband and I arriving right next door. So the four of us were all new neighbors together and we became friends almost as soon as we had unpacked our boxes. I’m so fortunate to have had Marjorie right next door and in my daily life for the last 13 years. We bonded over our mutual love of animals — I was so inspired when Marjorie rescued Travis — movies, politics, travel and all good things that life has to offer in the daily living of it. She was always there to help as the best neighbors do. I’ll always remember Marjorie for her kind soul, her warm heart, her generous spirit, her upbeat nature, and her quick wit. And of course, everyone could see how deeply Marjorie and John loved each other. Just being in the proximity of that loving energy was a gift that I’ll always be grateful for. I feel Marjorie’s loss profoundly and I’ll always miss her. Thanks for being you, Marjorie. Much love — Ruth
