Marjorie was such a beautiful, shining light in this world. I enjoyed working with her and our conversations about life and books. We worked together at The Christian Science Monitor. I had just graduated from college and she was a wonderful mentor to me. I always remembered how John would bring her beautiful flowers and how sweet it was to them you both in the newsroom together. Marjorie always took a sincere interest in everyone she met. It was genuine.
