"Let's have tea at the Ritz." That's what Marjorie said to me when I asked her what we should do if the Books blog hit 100,000 page views in 1 month (circa 2009). We had gone to Supreme Pizza for lunch for a celebratory slice prior to that for a lesser goal AND now we had to up our game. Marjorie and I happened to be cubicle buddies when I worked in the Publishing Department at the Monitor. Even though we were on different sides of the house, we worked well together in proving that blogs were a viable option for increasing the Monitor's web traffic. Sure enough, Marjorie spent more time blogging that month than ever before and we ended up having a wonderful time at the Ritz-Carlton ... for tea. I'm heartbroken by this news and wish I had taken the time to reconnect with her. John, I'm so sorry for your loss.
