I can't think of anyone better to guide a clueless college grad than Marjorie. I wasn't sure what it would be like to be a journalist, but Marjorie's encouragement made me feel like it was worth a shot. I came to write at the Monitor because of Marjorie. And I think a lot of people can say the same.
