Marjorie was one of the very first people I met at the Monitor, even before I started working there (my parents lived in NYC at the time and were friends with Marjorie at church). She was such a lovely, inspiring, calm presence, and I was delighted when she moved to Boston. I always loved chatting with her - about education, books, animals, theater. As others have mentioned, her true kindness shone through at all times, and is a legacy she leaves to the many, many people whose lives she touched.
