As one of Marjorie’s first cousins, I was blessed to know her for her entire life. She was always a favorite among the 6 generations of family members who knew her. We shared a lot of laughs together and shed some tears as well. There are so many family events and other good times to remember including the Christmas when she and her mother were snowed in at our house during a blizzard. Some of the qualities I most admired about Marjorie included her intellectual curiosity, adventuresome spirit, humility, wisdom, sense of caring, thoughtfulness, her calming presence, sense of humor, her non-critical acceptance of people, her spirituality, and her love of family and dogs. In so many ways, she was an example of how to best live life. For me, all these things will help sustain her memory. Knowing life is eternal, I take comfort that she has now been re-united with her parents and brother. The Coeyman family is together again. Thanks, John, for giving Marjorie what were undoubtedly the best 15 years of her life. And thanks to Emily Kehe for setting up this page. It is amazing to see the diverse range of people whose lives Marjorie touched in meaningful ways. But then, that’s no surprise. I always knew she was very special!
