I will be forever grateful the time I had with Marjorie Kehe, as a mentor, a colleague, and a friend. She was a truly wonderful light of a woman, brilliant in both senses of the word; a whip-smart editor, fierce in her convictions; and a loyal and selfless advocate of up and coming staffers. From our first encounter 10 years ago, her radiant kindness has always been something of a buoy. She was a wise and generous mentor who shared her own responsibilities as intern den-mother with me – except for the cookie baking, of course. That was her domain. So much of who I am today is a meek attempt to reflect her kindness, grace, and wisdom. Thank you sweet Marjorie for that gift. I hope to pay it forward for many years to come. -Noelle
